Peel Away Neutraliser: After using Peel Away 1 and Peel Away 7, the surface is left with an alkaline residue. After thorough washing and drying of the surface, the surface must be neutralised to return the pH level to neutral. The Peel Away neutraliser concentrate (acetic acid) is used to perform this task. It is applied, left for 6-8 hours and then washed off. Prior to painting or recoating surfaces should always be dry and pH test should be done on the surfaces if uncertain. A pH reading of 6.5 or close to this figure indicates that the surface has a neutral pH and painting can then be performed on that surface.
