Peel
Away is a unique paint removal system suitable for the removal of multiple
layers of all types of old paints. The product is a smooth alkaline paste
somewhat akin to the consistency of peanut butter. It is easily applied
with a spatula, or by brush or roller. The product is then covered with
a laminated cover. This allows the product to emulsify up to 30 layers
of lead based enamel paint in one application. The laminated cover is
then peeled away and with it the paint and the paste.

Peel Away is supplied with the Peel Away laminated paper
which seals the product and enables it to work effectively.
It protects the applicator and the public from harmful fumes and contact
with the Peel Away product. It keeps the product moist and active for
longer and enables it to be operational during all weather conditions.
Only use Peel Away Paper.
Extra sheets may be required for different applications. Peel Away will
not damage surfaces if applied as directed.

After Peel Away 1 is used, all surfaces need to be thoroughly washed
with water to assist in removing an alkaline residue. After the surface
is dried, the surface is neutralised by the Peel Away neutraliser. This
enables the residue to be removed and to ready the surface for repainting.
The neutraliser restores the pH of the surface to neutral and is washed
off prior to repainting.
Peel Away is supplied in different
sizes to suit different sizes of jobs.
Coverage can vary according to the number of layers and type of paint.
1 kg suitable for test patches and covers approximately 1 sqm. 5 kg suitable for small jobs - approximately 3 sqm, 20 kg for average size jobs - approximately 12 sqm 225 kg for very large jobs - approximately 100 sqm. |
